Ooooh maybe. I think this is definitely possible. We send messages and stuff into space in case there are aliens so maybe they are doing the same thing?!

Definitely. It already has and on many occasions. The earth is constantly bombarded by meteors and asteroids. Most are so small that the burn up in the atmosphere, but a few get through and some are huge!

The most famous one hit earth in modern day Mexico about 65 million years ago and caused such chaos that all the dinosaurs were wiped out.

The last fairly big incident happened in Russia on 30th June 1908, and killed about 8 million trees. It’s called the Tunguska Incident if you want to learn more about it.

A smaller meteor hit earth last year and caused a bit of damage: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-21468116
