      This doesn’t usually happen too often. This is because when an egg gets fertilised by a sperm then the egg has defence mechanisms to stop any more sperm getting in. If two sperm do manage to get into an egg then this will create a zygote (a zygote is a fertilised egg) which isn’t viable and it won’t grow into a baby.
