Looking directly at the sun will damage your eyes, due to the brightness. Don’t look into laser light either, since it is also very bright. Watching TV in a well-lit room for a short time (a few minutes) is not that bad for the eyes. But it’s important to take a break when using the computer or watching TV.

Looking directly at the sun can definitely damage your eyesight – even if there is an eclipse! So don’t do it. Protect your eyes.

Can watching TV damage your eyesight? Well, no. BUT, if you do it for too long without a break then you can cause eye strain which is not particularly good.

Have you ever been working so hard on something on your computer that you get headache? That’s often caused because your eyes have been straining to see something on the screen for too long.
