      Interesting question!

Some forget more than others. As everyone gets older their minds do slow down and it can take longer to recall things. However some older people can get dementia which can really affect their memories drastically. Dementia can be caused by a few things including diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. The sad thing about these diseases is that they can make the people who have them forget lots of things including their family and friends.

There is also no cure for these diseases but there are a few things you can do to reduce your risk of getting them. The two main things you can do is exercise and eat healthily (so foods low in fat and sugar). Hopefully one day we’ll find a cure-I think we will!
