That would be brilliant! There’s loads of things I’d like to do and places I’d like to visit. I’d like to go dancing at the palace of Versailles and see the great wall of China being built. Sadly I think if Stephen Hawking hasn’t managed this I suspect it would be beyond me.

If I’d won and managed to research time travel I presume I’d already know? So the answer must be no. Though whether that’s because (a) I won’t win, or (b) I will win but will then fail to successfully research time travel, I have yet to discover.

I love this question! Yes! Why not?! At one point people thought that going into space was impossible and yet humans managed to do that. The limitations of science are unknown. Maybe if I don’t manage it then you could become a scientist and do it?

We are all travelling in time. Scientific predictions are “time travel” in the sense that we are predicting what will happen (in addition to explaining what has already happened). But I frankly doubt my choice of whether to research time travel will be significantly affected by winning or not winning.

I could… but I suspect there are scientists out there who could do a much better job at that than me. So I’ll probably leave it up to them!
