I only 23 so I’m not quite at retirement age yet! I don’t know if I would be able to retire from science completely. I would really like to travel and see places that I have never been to!

At the moment I’m not sure what I’d want to do (though I am much closer to doing this that Fiona). But, (and assuming I’m still healthy) I don’t want to be working 40-50 hours a week until 65/66/67 and then do nothing! So a plan might be stopping this job around 60 and then working 2 or 3 days a week at a public science centre. Or something like that. But that depends on how much money I have, as money makes all these decisions easier!

It’s a good question, and something everyone should think about. The most important thing is (eventually) to have a plan!
