Goodness, you guys are asking us some really difficult questions today!

I don’t think there is one single solution that will eradicate world poverty. Instead, lots of different approaches will help. But for me, the most important one is providing education and healthcare in the developing countries.

You know those annoying Oxfam adverts which say something like “if you provide someone with food they will feed their family for a week, but if you provide them with the means to grow their own food they will feed themselves for years”?… well, although the ads are annoying, the message is an interesting one.

I don’t think that we, in developed nations, can fully solve world poverty on our own. We need to help people who grew up in those countries to help themselves. And the best way to do that is to a) educate them and b) make sure that they keep healthy!

It’s not the only solution, by any means, but I believe it would help a lot.

Cooperation. If people agree that it is a problem, and work together, we can solve it. If people continue to fight for power and want to rule over kingdoms, then there will be suffering and poverty.
